Coronavirus & Our Deliveries

As concern over the spread of the coronavirus deepens, here are some things we think you should know about our deliveries:

  • It is highly unlikely that the virus could be transmitted from the surface of a package –  According to the World Health Organization “It is very unlikely that the virus will persist on a surface after it has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperatures.”
  • The virus does not survive on the surface of packages The CDC website puts it this way:  “In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently, there is no evidence to support transmission of 2019-nCoV associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of 2019-nCoV in the United States associated with imported goods.”
  • We offer “contactless delivery” – Should your people be concerned about contact with those delivering packages, we offer the option of leaving your deliveries outside your office door.  Companies like DoorDash and Postmates are encouraged and offering these services.  If you would like “contactless delivery” let us know when you request your delivery or email: [email protected].
  • Our drivers are fighting the spread of the virus – Our drivers have the tools to maintain sanitary conditions.  They travel with hand-sanitizers and gloves as a precaution.
