Sending holiday gifts to your clients?

While COVID has cancelled many things this year, gift-giving is not one of them, especially when it comes to thanking your clients at the end of the year! However, here are a couple things to keep in mind:

Decide on the gift early – This year we have seen many delays at the post office and hold ups with online retailers. Choose the gifts you’ll be sending soon after Halloween.  If you wait until the last minute to order those gifts, you may have trouble getting your order fulfilled or even rush charges from your gift vendors.

Know where your clients are located – Some continue to work from home, others may have returned to the office but are under limited business hours.

Communicate with your couriers early – If you work with your courier service early on, they can help you maximize your delivery budget.  Let Pearl know by November 30th how many deliveries we’ll be making for you, locations and any special instructions. Consider delivery to customers before the traditional holiday rush – If you really want to make a lasting impression on an important client, have your gift delivered early in December.  Do it early and get noticed. Gifts that arrive along with many others may not have the impact you want.  On the other hand, gifts that arrive at the last minute may feel like an afterthought to your clients.
